Hi, my name is Sanne van Dijken, I am an English- and Dutch speaking psychologist based in Zürich. I offer both online and in-person counselling sessions. As a psychologist, I see my role not as giving all the answers, but as someone who walks alongside you, helping you untangle what feels stuck and figure out what matters most to you. My work is grounded in compassion, open-mindedness and genuine collaboration. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a partnership, where we bring together your lived experience and my psychological expertise to navigate life’s challenges.
I am a member of the Fédération Suisse des Psychologues (FSP) and of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (Psycholoog NIP).

From a free introductory session to overcoming your challenges, here’s how we’ll work together:

In a free online 15-minute session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss your needs.


Step 2
We build rapport and explore your situation in detail and determine the best way forward.


Step 3
In subsequent sessions, we delve into the underlying causes of the challenges you face. We aim to gain insight into certain patterns.


Step 4
Throughout therapy, we regularly reflect on your progress and adjust the approach as needed. This ensures that our work remains aligned with your goals and continues to meet your evolving needs.
