About this service
Neurodivergence can influence many areas of life, from school and work to relationships and self-esteem. This assessment service is designed to provide clarity and insight into how your brain works. Together, we explore whether you’re neurodivergent, and what that means for you in your daily life.
My assessments are rooted in current research and clinical guidelines, but they are also personal and collaborative. I take time to really get to know you, your strengths, challenges, and questions, so that the outcome feels meaningful and not just diagnostic. Most often the goal is not to label, but to understand how you work.
Important: As a psychologist, I can conduct psychological assessments and determine whether you show characteristics consistent with, or meet the criteria for ASD. For a formal medical diagnosis (for example, if medication or insurance requires it), a doctor or psychiatrist is needed. Reports by a psychologist are generally accepted by schools and other institutions as official psychological evaluations, but it is recommended to check this with the specific institution. When a medical diagnosis is required (e.g., for medication or insurance), I can collaborate with a psychiatrist who will use my assessment as part of their diagnostic process, so the evaluation does not need to be repeated.
Who can benefit
The assessment might benefit you if you are struggling with attention, overwhelm, rigid routines, social interactions, or simply feel that the world operates on a different rhythm than you do. Currently, it is only suitable for teenagers and adults who are wondering whether they may be neurodivergent. Due to the assessment being online, it is not suitable for children.
Whether you’re exploring this for the first time or have had previous assessments, you’re welcome here.
How it works
The assessment process begins with an intake session, where we explore your background, concerns, and goals for the assessment. Depending on age and situation, the full process may involve questionnaires, structured interviews, and where relevant, input from parents or partners.
The process may also include developmental history gathered from someone who knew you as a child. I follow international guidelines and tailor each assessment to fit the individual context.
At the end of the process, I provide a written report and we schedule a feedback session to go through the findings together. This includes diagnostic conclusions (if applicable), recommendations, and a clear, practical plan for next steps.
What to expect
The full process typically takes several weeks from intake to feedback. You can expect a clear timeline and ongoing communication along the way. The report is written in accessible language and includes both clinical observations and your own perspective.
People often describe the process as validating and eye-opening. Beyond a possible diagnosis, many clients walk away with a better understanding of themselves and how to navigate the world with more self-compassion and confidence.
